Drop-in English Classes in Manchester
Looking for flexible English classes in Manchester? BSC English Class Pass gives you access to a morning Speaking and Listening session (9:10-12:00) or an afternoon English Language Masterclass (13:45-16:00) at BSC Manchester for just £25. No weekly commitment, no long-term schedule, and a great way to meet people from all over the world. All levels welcome, from beginner to advanced.

What can I do in Manchester?
Manchester is full of exciting things to see and do! You can explore landmarks like Manchester Cathedral, John Rylands Library, and the Beetham Tower. Visit top museums and galleries such as the Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester Art Gallery, and the Whitworth, many of which are free. Football fans can visit the iconic stadiums of Manchester United at Old Trafford and Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. The city also has a vibrant music scene, shopping areas like the Arndale Centre, and plenty of parks and cafés to enjoy.
How can I get around the city?
There are multiple forms of public transport in Manchester, including buses, trams (Metrolink), and trains, which make it easy to travel across the city and surrounding areas. Many popular destinations are also within walking or cycling distance, and taxis or ride-sharing services are readily available for added convenience.
Where can I buy lunch?
There are plenty of food options just outside the school and a short walk away in Piccadilly Gardens. Some popular lunch spots include Greggs, KFC, McDonald’s, Popeyes, Pret A Manger, GoFalafel, Costa, and the Piccadilly Street Food Market. You’re also welcome to bring your lunch back to the school and eat in one of our break rooms or on the roof terrace!

We offer two types of accommodation: Tatton House, our student residence featuring en-suite, studio-style rooms with a private kitchen and living area; and Homestay, where you can live with a local family in Manchester for a more immersive cultural experience.
