Some frequently asked questions about our OET courses.
Is my teacher qualified?
Yes, all of our tutors are qualified professional English teachers. In addition to their English teaching qualifications, they have all undertaken additional training with OET to ensure that they understand exactly what is required to succeed with the OET Exam.
Are the courses profession specific?
No. The class may include any of the 12 medical specialisms eg Doctors, Nurses, Radiographers, Dentists etc. But don’t worry, this is not a problem, as the writing and speaking sections require the same techniques and have the same assessment criteria. You will be supported with specialism specific self-study materials.
I cannot attend one of the sessions. Can I have a recording?
Yes. If you are unable to attend, let your tutor know and they will record the session for you. However, we do not routinely record sessions because we want to encourage students to attend and engage in the session. Also, we request that you respect the privacy of your fellow students and do not share or upload any video.
Can I extend my course if I feel that I need extra support?
Yes. Although the majority of our students feel that they are fully prepared by the end of the course, we are happy to arrange extra sessions and support for you if you feel you need it.
