The English Class Pass is BSC's flexible drop-in option for anyone living, working, or studying in one of our school cities.
Whether you’re based in Brighton, commuting through London, working in Manchester, exploring York, living in Edinburgh, or spending time in Malta, you can walk into a BSC class on a day that suits you and leave feeling more confident in your English.
Choose the session that fits your day. Morning sessions run from 9:10 to 12:00 and focus on Speaking and Listening. Afternoon sessions run from 13:45 to 16:00 and cover the English Language Masterclass. Classes run Monday to Thursday, with morning sessions also available on Fridays.

Morning session (9:10-12:00) – Speaking and Listening
This session focuses on real conversation and communication skills. You will practise speaking and listening in a social, interactive environment with other students from around the world, with guidance and feedback from your teacher throughout. It’s a great way to build confidence and fluency in everyday English.
Afternoon session (13:45-16:00) – English Language Masterclass
This session covers the building blocks of English, including vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and how English is used in everyday situations. It’s a focused, engaging class designed to help you express yourself more clearly and confidently, whether you’re chatting with friends, writing messages, or speaking at work.

Yes. Morning sessions run from 9:10 to 12:00 and cover Speaking and Listening. Afternoon sessions run from 13:45 to 16:00 and cover the English Language Masterclass. What level of English do I need?
All levels are welcome, from complete beginner to advanced. When you register, simply let us know your current level and we’ll make sure you’re placed in the right group and feeling comfortable from the moment you walk in.
Can I use the English Class Pass more than once?
Absolutely. You can purchase a Class Pass as many times as you like, there is no limit. Many students across our Brighton, London, Manchester, York, Edinburgh, and Malta schools use it regularly as a flexible alternative to a weekly course.

The English Class Pass costs £25 per person at all UK schools. At BSC Malta in Sliema the price is €25. One pass covers one session, morning or afternoon.
What is included in a full BSC course that isn't included in the Class Pass?
A full BSC course includes a placement test, personalised study plan, monthly one-to-one tutorial with your teacher, a social programme Monday to Thursday, academic workshops, a BSC certificate of attendance, and an end of course report. The Class Pass is a flexible taster session – if you enjoy it and want to continue, our teams will be happy to talk you through the full course options available at your chosen school.
Can I enrol on a full course after trying the Class Pass?
Yes, and many students do. If you enjoy your session and want to continue improving your English, our teams in Brighton, London, Manchester, York, Edinburgh, and Malta will be happy to talk you through the full course options available at your chosen school.
What is the minimum age?
The English Class Pass is open to students aged 16 and over at all locations.
What if I need to cancel or change my plans?
