Future Technologists with FIRST® LEGO® League
An exciting new STEM course (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) that combines English language learning with robotics, engineering, coding, and team competition.
Why take the Future Technologists course with BSC?
During this specially designed course, young learners will:
Grow in confidence and make friends from around the world
Develop English and STEM skills through fun competition
Take their first steps into a career in STEM
Engaging Youth in STEM Exploration
A unique opportunity for Young Technologists (11-15) to experience working together in the international teams that are typical of the modern science and technology workplace.
Mornings:
Mornings start with sessions designed to improve English language skills in a dynamic and communicative classroom. These language skills are further developed after the morning break as students investigate case studies of real-world environmental or technical challenges and work together to design their own technological solutions, which they then present to the group. (These activities provide great opportunities for student to express their creativity and develop English language communication skills)
Afternoons: Work together to design, build and code autonomous robots in in a robot games competition created by FIRST® LEGO® League.

Course Outcomes
Young people work together to explore a given topic and to design, build and program an autonomous LEGO® robot to solve a series of missions.
During the Future Technologists course, teams will participate in a robot games tournament based on the 2025 FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge. This year’s challenge is called “Submerged” and focuses on exploring different layers of our oceans.
Students develop skills in coding, engineering, robotics, teamwork, project management, and professional ethics through friendly, respectful competition.
Student Welfare
Looking after your children is our priority. Just like you, we want them to feel safe, happy and comfortable during their stay.
From the healthy meals we provide at residential camps, to the fun social calendars we plan for students at our city schools: we do everything we can for your child to enjoy themselves.
Our team members all receive formal safeguarding training, and students are supervised around the clock by friendly, experienced residential chaperones.
